If your business relies on getting their job done, then you might want to free them up a bit by taking away one thing that may hamper their productivity - generating leads. Working marketing, I’ve had my share of dealing with sales people back in my day as a corporate junkie and I’d have to say that generating leads for themselves is one thing that deprives them of time that they can effectively use for pursuing hot leads instead.
The solution - hire a telemarketer who can do it for your sales force. This isn’t like your hard-selling sales call at all. More often, your telemarketers can just sniff out interest levels of the prospects. If they can find opportunities they can also be the ones to set appointments for calls and presentations. All your sales people need to do is use cherry-picked information to do their jobs. Even, companies selling financial products and services can even highly-benefit from this.
Better yet, with today’s technology, you can utilize all the other available media - e-mail and even online advertising to generate leads for you.
Pursuing worthwhile leads instead of cold calling will boost your sales people’s productivity. And we all know that a more productive sales force generates more sales for your company.
