		<description>Yup, my sentiments exactly. But I think the Computerworld article based it on a lot of top-ranking companies and its academic popularity. COBOL has started to be excluded from IT programs all over the world. Maybe my use of "some" should be substituted with "many."</description>

		<description>COBOL is not dead. There are still MANY business out there that use it. And they will for a good long time because it would cost them too much to upgrade. Yes COBOL is very old and other things can do things better. The thing is, there is still going to be the demand for it which means people like me, will always have a GOOD paying job.</description>
