Here’s a some great news from Googlers. Some users are now apparently getting an option in Gmail to view PowerPoint attachments as slideshows online. Speculations include that this may yet to be Google’s presentation application that may be available soon.
Google has previously made available the “View as HTML” feature for Gmail attachments. And Google Blogoscoped reports that some users now have a “View as slideshow” option. My Google account doesn’t have it yet.
Here’s another cool feature from the report, right-clicking on the slideshow shows this “Embed this presentation” feature. Which means it’d be great news for bloggers who would want presentations to be embedded on their sites.
So far, I think it’s still in the test phase and I just hope it’s made available for all real soon.
