Microsoft unveils a new line of surface computer products named Surface.

Surface computing is an advanced touch interface. Apart from just being a hand-gesture interface, it is able to recognize real-world physical objects. It just offers a whole new paradigm on how we would rethink input devices.

This will be mainly targeted to hotels and restaurants to provide customers with a more attractive and engaging interface. But the possibilities for professional, home, and personal use can just be limitless. Wow. It’s amazing how something that came from Microsoft amazed me even just a bit.

For those into viral video, it awfully looks too familiar. For those not, it’s quite reminiscent of that Minority Report interface, only you do it on a Surface. I wonder if cross-breeding it with Wii will finally lead us to that Tom Cruise toy.
