The Weather Channel Teams Up with Microsoft Virtual Earth
The Weather Channel just launched an online weather mapping service. Users can access weather data, get this, down to the very street of whatever area you want to have weather information access on.
It uses Microsoft Virtual Earth together with its technology to provide weather information over a very specific locale. Virtual Earth is used by Windows Live for local search and mapping service. This latest mash-up then allows The Weather Channel users to have highly detailed weather information.
