Airplane

We haven’t really written a lot of tips for travelers so we decided to create a short series on traveling tricks.

When you pack your bags whether to explore new sights or just to relax your senses by surrounding yourself with a different culture, you should know how to make your travel a vacation you will never forget. But when hassles come as soon as you reach the airport, how can you look forward to having the vacation you need? We give you pointers and reminders on how to make your travel the best yet.

Scrap book. When you reach your destination, you will pick up a lot of things along the way. You’ll be picking up brochures and flyers and you would even think of keeping your plane ticket as a souvenir. Collecting all of these can just be clutter in your luggage unless you get things organized on the fly. Solution: a scrapbook. Just glue your stuff on. If you keep gluing your souvenir tickets and flyers in your scrapbook, you’re sure to keep them and remember them because you can put captions below each entry.

Small pillow. It seems people don’t make a habit of bringing pillows on the plane but when they start to feel sleepy, they’d wish they had. It’s because having a pillow to support your neck especially during a long trip will save you from stiff neck and discomfort. There are compressible pillows you can buy so bringing one shouldn’t be bulky.

Tipping. It’s understood that you give tips to the hotel staff where you’re staying. But try giving the tip the moment you start your stay, instead of handing it at the end. This way, the hotel staff will be of more assistance. Here’s an old post on tipping.
