For quite some time, I’ve been using this handy-dandy toolbar (as extension) in Firefox - StumbleUpon. This is just so fun, you just might get addicted and forget to do what you have to do. :p

Here’s a cursory list of features according to their site (yes, focus on the “and more” part):
StumbleUpon

  • Channel surf the internet for great websites, videos, pictures, games and more!
  • Get personalized recommendations according to your interests
  • Rate, review and share what you find
  • Keep an online history of the things you’ve Stumbled
  • No adware or spyware guaranteed

I’m using the toolbar extension for Firefox and quite frankly, it had me using Google search bar a lot less ever since I started using it. The Firefox extension just works great for me. It even has details on account creation so no need to go to the main site anymore.

However, contrary to the potential decrease of productivity (due to your addiction), StumbleUpon has helped me find new ideas through the different sites I’ve “stumbled upon” (darn the pun!) and share these with you here on LifeSpy.
