A while back, I featured a freeware that lets you look into your celebrity look-alike. One thing I can say about it is that the database is quite limited. In that case, web apps can’t be beat since these usually have a larger database that’s updated continually over a downloadable freeware such as Gina Beauty Software.
You don’t have to look too far from a simple Google search to bring you to (IMHO) the best celebrity look-alike face recognition service online. MyHeritage (still in BETA) lets you upload (or refer an image URL, or get them from Bebo or Photobucket) and cross-references your facial details and extract matches from its database. You need to register for an account to try it out.
What I really like about it is the fact that it has a really extensive database of celebrity faces. After uploading an image, you can recrop the section that will be scanned and searched. After you get the result, it even lets you see both male and female look-alikes and scroll through them based on percentage match.
Once the results are generated, you can avail of Cool Options like integrating a Celebrity Collage or a Morph show that can be integrated on your website or blog. So for a vain-glorious trip, try out MyHeritage’s face recognition.
