In relation with the use of StumbleUpon, I’m starting this series on good web finds – sites that you might find interesting and educational just like what I did with YouTube. But there’s a whole lot of unchartered territory out there and I thought I’d expand it to
First raid captive – Visuwords. There are a lot of online dictionaries out there but Visuwords gave it a little twist. It’s a visual online dictionary that features word and concept associations – great for those doing language studies and research (like I do). It can serve as a visual dictionary, mind map and thesaurus. Writers can also benefit from this.
It uses Princeton University’s Wordnet – an online open source database built through language researches. It uses Flash so your browser better be Flash enabled.

2Yes it is. It’s quite amazing how it maps out concepts and their relations.
