Perf Control

I’ve been trying to hack away at those few pounds I’ve gained from my very sedentary office life for the past months now. I haven’t really enrolled into a gym program but am doing all the workout all by myself. Until I realized, I’m lacking one of the elements that a gym program would have - a monitored workout routine.

Routines are important to ensure that you’re making proper progress and you’re getting a full workout. Too much cardio and you might be losing some flexibility points. Too much strength exercises might make you lose some cardio too.

Perhaps, your computer may have led you to those poking pounds but you can use it too to lead you back to be physically fit. For the past week, I’ve been using this quite helpful workout monitoring program - Perf Control Personal Edition.

It lets you keep track of workout routines even customize one from a list of standard exercises. It has a built-in calendar that allows you to view your recent workouts. And for those pounds and inches freaks, yes, it let’s you monitor those stats too.

There are other workout monitoring apps out there too, but this one’s free. Works from Windows 98SE to XP.
