Having been a tradeswoman since 1984 (Journeyman (sic) with an Interprovincial Red Seal ticket) and having worked with many tradeswomen up here in the Yukon and having gotten to know so many across Canada, I took offense at the line "I can’t wait to meet a woman who could take a guy to school in power tool proficiency." Look for them someplace else besides the kitchen and the bedroom because there are more and more women finding out that the trades are the place for them and most of them could give guys lessons on the proper operation of power tools. We've got several teaching in the Trades Department at Yukon College here. I'm Program Coordinator of an organization called Yukon Women in Trades and Technology and we give a lot of hands-on workshops for adult women and school kids about careers in the trades. Where you been all your life?
