I’m not a big fan of WordPress’ Visual editor so I usually gun for the Code. Unfortunately you may not have the keyboard shortcuts that you’ve been just too familiar with in the Code editor unlike in Visual where you can use Ctrl + B to use boldface.
However, the Code editor does have its own set of keyboard shortcuts to help you with your keyboard ninjitsu while dealing with code. Nice!
Bold: Alt + Shift + B
Italics: Alt + Shift + I
Link: Alt + Shift + A
Blockquote: Alt + Shift + Q
Code: Alt + Shift + C
Read More: Alt + Shift + T
Unordered List (ul): Alt + Shift + U
Ordered List (ol): Alt + Shift + O
List Item (li): Alt + Shift + L
