Save for my allergies to shellfish (Yes, it sucks that I can’t wolf down lobster!), I love sushi. While initially considered as a Japanese thing, many restaurants (and even office cafeterias) are serving sushi. At least that enables us to appreciate this rather tasty delicacy.

Now obviously this should be taken light-heartedly. Steps are described with such detail and other pointers are really humorous. And yes, some points may gross you out and may swear not to eat sushi again. But I assure you, this is a humor piece. In any case, this should make a newbie sushi eater rise another level with this one. Oh, it’s in Japanese but it has subtitles to guide you.

Don’t worry about that gross part. The Japanese emphasize on extreme care and cleanliness with sushi. And as for sushi-serving establishments elsewhere, they’re also cautious of sanitation since these things can ruin reputations and rake in lawsuits. So don’t worry, laugh it off, and enjoy your sushi.
