Seriously, Mozilla’s attempt to dub Firefox 3 as the most downloaded program met some kinks due to the “unexpected” wave of downloads. I still love Firefox but the fact that I can’t even get it via getfirefox.com and be part of the record due to stressed out servers is pretty disappointing.

Forget about downloading from getfirefox.com as it is, at the time of this writing, is dead. It now redirects to mozilla.com. spreadfirefox.com, however, seems to be working fine now. So you can download Firefox 3 from here. Here’s another download link just in case spreadfirefox.com succumbs to hiccups (then chokes!) sometime over the next hours.

Anyway, I’m happily downloading as of this writing and I’ll get back to writing daily tips. Once I get things sorted out.
