For most downloaded software in a 24-hour period. Hold on to you hats, folks. This will be big. So Mozilla is gunning for this accolade (and yes, it’s a Guinness World Record) and I’ll be more than happy to join the party.

If you want to participate, head over to the download day headquarters and pledge your allegiance. As of this writing, Mozilla might just be able to breach the 500k mark with 362,331 already pledging within only a couple of days of the announcement.

Come on, be part of the world record! And I thought it was illegal downloads for Microsoft products that tops the list. I guess those won’t count. But this will. We will.
