Your heart can beat its last any time. I’m not trying to scare you because it happens – sometimes it stops ticking just like that. Now there are many ways to prevent heart-attack, and here are some of
them.
Watch your bpm. Did you know that you have a 78% higher risk of dying from a heart attack if your resting heart rate rises to 70 beats per minute (bpm)?
What’s your exercise? Jogging is not enough, although it’s a good exercise routine. Whenever you take a jog, try to accelerate and run faster so your heart will be more efficient. Compared to jogging, running is more vigorous. This means it reduces the number of heartbeats you need to achieve a healthy bloodflow. To get the best benefits of exercise, try a hard run one day then a jog the next. For a real close watch on your heart’s performance, you can use a heart rate monitor.
Lose and reduce your stress hormones. A relaxing massage could just be exactly what you need to soothe a fast-beating heart. Some of the stress hormones you want to reduce in your system are: adrenaline, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. Give your heart the relief it needs by having a reflexology treatment. On regular days, you can ask your partner to give you a massage. And you can do the same thing for her.
Get a peaceful sleep. Did you know that when you wake up to an annoying sound, your heart rate goes up? Before you sleep, make sure you won’t be disturbed because you need your continuous rest.
Urinate when you have to. Research found that holding it in when you have to go increases your bpm. So just pull over and go if you gotta go.
