You have always heard the motto, “celebrate life”. And even though you try to live by it sometimes, something always goes wrong, because that’s how life is. Such problems could render us depressed, frustrated and maybe a bit angry at how life is. Knowing how to bounce back from a crisis will determine your chances at happiness. Help yourself become more cheerful about life.
Before you sleep, know what you’re going to do the next day. You cannot avoid having responsibilities and you always get new ones everyday. To make yourself happier despite these responsibilities, make sure you accomplish all of them because completion of tasks will make you feel more productive and therefore, happy. One perk about being able to work efficiently, is finishing work early and having time left for leisure. Call up friends and go out for a night of social drinking and good conversation.
Eat food which makes you happy. Don’t limit yourself to oatmeal and crackers when you’re actually craving for a chocolate cake and pesto pasta. Indulge in your cravings every once in a while. It’s good to reward yourself with treats every now and then.
Don’t give up your passion. You may not make a living as a painter, because accounting rakes in more money. But it doesn’t mean you should give up your passion altogether. Convert one room in your house entirely devoted to your hobby. Use your hobbies to relieve your stress.
Always celebrate your achievements. A job well done needs a good cheer. Give yourself the credit and celebrate with a few close friends. Every achievement is the fruit of motivation and inspiration.
