Reality has it that a lot of people are selling their homes because of the crunch and the refunds that you can get would not be enough to stave off more pressing financial issues. If you have no choice but to sell your house, then be sure that you get an agent who is great his or her job. You’re selling something of value here and it’s always best to place in the hands of a pro real estate agent.
Seek out a pro. Many people make the mistake of picking out a relative or a friend to be their agent. Unless they’re a seasoned pro, try not to find someone close to you to sell something that is quite loaded with sentimental value. Try getting an agent who specializes in your area and your type of property.
Mind the agency. Make sure that the agency your agents belongs to is a reputable one and you can often tell with a quick visit to the office. Dingy offices often spell a two-bit operation. Do a background check too. Ask about their former clients and their batting average on selling houses. As for credentials, ask if they are a member of multiple-listing services and have ties to credible financing sources.
Good rapport. Some agents are too pushy and can annoy the heck out of you. Remember that agent-client relationships are also crucial for the sale of your home. If you have any hang-ups regarding your agent, find a new one.

1I formed the most important options before searching for a realtor in Toronto and I`ve found the patience as the most important quality of a realtor. If you can tell all your wishes and whims and he or she is listening you and taking these in consideration you achieved what you wanted. Patience and flexibility I would complete and I would suggest to everybody being in a situation of selling or buying home to take these attributes to help in decision.

2Definately seek out a professional realtor that sells homes often not just a few a year. Ask to to see the listing and see that it has all fields entered so to not have quesitons for people looking at the lisiting. Does the realtor return your calls and will he return calls from prospects interested in your home. Has the realtor made suggestions on how to maximize the chance of sale and things to do to your home prior to listing ie staging a home. How will they market the plan. Does this realtor have a habbit of low balling the price for the volume of sales very important to check.
