What are your house insect pests? When you come home tired from work, you feel grateful that there’s a cozy structure that will shelter you from harm. But just as you’re getting comfortable with your lounge chair, you notice a line of ants coming from the kitchen through the living room and going out the window. Don’t freak just yet. Keep your cool, because we’ll help you rid your home of these pests.
Cockroaches. It has been found that there’s a connection between cockroaches and children’s tendency to acquire asthma. Some children have severe sensitivities to cockroach allergens. These allergens come from cockroach saliva, droppings and decomposing bodies.
Cockroaches are usually found in dark corners. Store your food properly and make sure your kitchen is always clean. Dispose your garbage regularly so you won’t invite cockroaches to breed inside your house. Don’t squish these cockroaches because that would be nasty.
Spiders. Stepping brings about a sense of vengeance, but if there are a lot of spiders, then this might not be the best (not to mention fastest) idea. Since common spiders are not exactly harmful, you can just throw them out your window. Check your house and repair cracks on walls and make sure you always vacuum and clean under your bed and sofa. You should also remove webs on your ceilings.
Think twice before using pesticides. Pesticides are toxic chemicals and are therefore dangerous and can be ineffective.
Termites. Termites are so destructive to everything wooden in your home. So once you see any signs (caking packs of mud/soil trails and termite-chewed wood), then it’s time to call the exterminators. Sprinkling borax can protect wood however, it’s always best to call the exterminators to locate and destroy the nest and treat your home.
