Pants

Don’t blame it all on your body. Not everyone can have perfectly long legs. Sometimes it’s a matter of wearing the right pants to bring out the best in your figure. Dressing up is a big deal, but if you’re not up for skirts then you should definitely master the art of choosing your perfect pair of pants.

Your holiday overeating is evidenced by your hips. The best that you can hope for is for your waist to remain slim so that you’ll maintain that curve. But the problem is when your big hip comes in contrast to your small waist. You’ll need pants which are stretchy. Remember what they say about black? That it makes you look slimmer? Well, it’s true! Go for darker shades because they really do create a slimming effect. The perfect fit for you is mid-rise.

Another thing you hate about your legs? Let me guess: big thighs. This means you’re almost always wearing pants/slacks, afraid that a skirt will show your less-than-perfect stems. But don’t fret. Wide-leg pants are perfect for you. They will make your legs look slender and longer. Try not to wear pants with a lot of pockets on the side or any design that makes it look wider. Vertical design/lines running along the sides can also create an illusion of longer legs.

Petite girls might spend loads on tailoring. To avoid this unnecessary expense, look for petite lines which already have your size. Avoid wide or baggy pants. They tend to make you look shorter.
