Showerhead

Does your showerhead and other bathroom fixtures look white instead of that silver-chrome finish that it used to have? Then if it does, then it’s hard-water buildup that has accumulated. It’s fairly easy to remove those deposits and restore your bathroom fixture to its shining glory. Here’s a home remedy solution that you can use.

What you need:

  • Small bowl or pail
  • Spray bottle
  • Hot water
  • White vinegar
  • A stiff nylon-bristled brush

What to do:

  • In a small pail or bowl, mix one part white vinegar to 1 part hot water.
  • Remove the fixture from the assembly. If not possible, then spray on the solution with the spritz bottle. Wouldn’t work as effectively as soaking though.
  • Soak it in the solution for an hour.
  • If your fixture has nooks and crannies, brush those crevices out.
  • Rinse and assemble.
