Does your showerhead and other bathroom fixtures look white instead of that silver-chrome finish that it used to have? Then if it does, then it’s hard-water buildup that has accumulated. It’s fairly easy to remove those deposits and restore your bathroom fixture to its shining glory. Here’s a home remedy solution that you can use.
What you need:
- Small bowl or pail
- Spray bottle
- Hot water
- White vinegar
- A stiff nylon-bristled brush
What to do:
- In a small pail or bowl, mix one part white vinegar to 1 part hot water.
- Remove the fixture from the assembly. If not possible, then spray on the solution with the spritz bottle. Wouldn’t work as effectively as soaking though.
- Soak it in the solution for an hour.
- If your fixture has nooks and crannies, brush those crevices out.
- Rinse and assemble.
