Believe it or not, I have friends who are still NBSB. That spells for No Boyfriend Since Birth. Some people are quick to judge it as sad and frustrating, and they’re probably right. Remember, even Science is saying that having a sex life makes you look and feel younger. Now here’s how to get those happy hormones.
Don’t be shy to strangers. Yep, there’s the rule of no talking to strangers but you’re not a kid anymore. You can handle yourself if the stranger turns out to be less than a gentleman. Get over your usual shyness and strike up a witty conversation with that guy you’ve been eyeing.
Be approachable. If you can’t do the approaching, then at least show signs of being friendly so the guys can approach you. If he starts a conversation with you, don’t scare them off. Just be charming and let them come to you.
Say YES to dates. It’s OK to be choosy, but don’t make a habit of saying NO. If you keep refusing invites, you’re going to sweep away all those incoming.
Move on. We know forgetting the hurtful past is hard, but you have to move on if you want to be open to a new romance. If you can’t let go of the past, you will always have that fear which will stop you from experiencing the joys of being in love again. People who never dated also have a fear. They fear of getting hurt because love comes hand in hand with pain. But those who won’t risk it will never find love because they’re too afraid to try.
Give it your time. People who don’t have time to date will find it harder to find love. If you want to find love, make time for it. People who make time for love deserve to find it more than those who just take it for granted.
