"Believe it or not, I have friends who are still NBSB. That spells for No Boyfriend Since Birth. Some people are quick to judge it as sad and frustrating, and they’re probably right."

Is that really how you view your friends; do you really think that being permanently single boils down to that and that alone? I'm sorry, but I really don't think that's a very nuanced view. I'll agree all people are made for companionship, and most of them desire companionship of the sexual or romantic kind, but that said, a life without romance is not more or less complete than one that does have it unless the person whose life it is decides so. People have different passions, and romance and sex tend to be prioritized rather highly, but I'm just not prepared to count someone's quality of life down based on knowing but one factor of their lifestyle (that they have been and remain single).

My point? Your advice is great for the long-term single folks who do sense that something is missing, but I'm really troubled by your approval of people's tendency to quickly judge anyone's choices (and being NBSB -is- undeniably a choice) regarding their own damn sex life. Perhaps they're ready to open their heart up and simply haven't--as you imply--but some of them maybe really aren't ready. And some people are genuinely better off single.

WOW! Very well said! I totally agree! Thanks for the witty lines! They're so true. I can really relate. That's why right now, I am taking that part of my life step by step. I am starting to open up and I do hope that I will open up my heart to the ONE (who I believe is just somewhere around the corner).
