		<description>Hi Alex.

I read with interest your article about creating a new ambience.

One thing my partner and I have often commented on is the fact that our bedroom came fitted with wardrobes and bedside tables etc. Very useful - all that storage space but it does restrict the room to one layout - i.e bed can only go in one spot.

Doors off to an ensuite and a window mean the room is pretty much set in stone before we'd even moved in.

Have any other readers experienced similar frustrations?

Back in the '80's, I stayed at a small B&#38;B and the landlady remarked that she always moved the furniture around between guests, however her daughter, who worked at a big hotel had tried to do the same and found a massive hole under the bed so she hadn't dared try it again.

Jonathan.
