What’s the worse thing that could happen on Valentine’s Day? Why, going through a breakup, of course! It’s a hundred times the pain of being dateless. While everyone else is exchanging teddy bears, bouquets, and engagement rings, you’re sulking and crying your eyes out.
Your room is probably a mess, with all those takeout Chinese food you’ve eaten this week. How do you get your life back on track? Before you arrive to that point where you can confidently say you got over your ex, you probably have to go through these stages where you’ll tend to lose your composure.
Asking yourself why…again and again. Why did you break up? Regardless of the reason, a breakup happens when the couple reaches a point where they can’t negotiate a conflict. So what happened between you two was the failure to reach an agreement where you can be both happy.
You want to call your ex in the middle of the night. You don’t exactly see anything wrong about calling your ex at 2 in the morning. After all, you need to vent. It was okay when you were still a couple, when it’s cute to call each other in an ungodly hour just to tell him about your recent blog entry. But now that you’ve broken up, calling your ex might not be a very good idea when you’re still in the state of depression. You might say something you’ll regret later on.
However nasty the breakup went, you shouldn’t pig out. Ice cream might sound like a good idea at a crisis like this but stick to your diet. No one is worth messing up your diet.
