Are you afraid of crowds or simply not comfortable with people invading your space? Here are some tips on how to tolerate crowds:

If your fear of crowds is a little severe, you can always try to avoid them. Time your travel so you won’t end up braving the rush hour. You can wake up earlier in the morning and try to leave earlier or later in the afternoon or early evening after work.

Always go to public places such as malls, museums, and resorts during non-peak hours where there won’t be a lot of people. Weekends and holidays are always crowded, so try to schedule your leisure activities around them.

Keep aware of your surroundings and and do not make eye contact if strangers make you uncomfortable. Keep a straight face and look away.

If a stranger gets a little too close, just be calm and maintain your composure. Simply move away.
