Too much coffee (or tea) drinking can stain teeth. Although the best way to avoid this is to minimize coffee intake. Here are some other ways to keep your pearly whites stain-free.
Use a drinking straw when drinking cold coffee beverages. Follow a drink of coffee with a glass of water. You can also swish water if you’re inclined to do so.
Munching on vegetables and fruits such as apples and celery can also help remove coffee stains from teeth.
A natural teeth whitening can be used on teeth. Mix two teaspoons of baking soda and three teaspoons of peroxide can make a good bleach. Just brush teeth with this paste once a day. You can also try mashed strawberries as toothpaste before going to bed.
Fluoride toothpastes and mouthwash can also help remove not coffee but other stains as well. Whitening strips, which can be placed on the teeth twice a day for two weeks are readily available at local grocery stores and drugstores.
For bad stains, you can always have a special bleaching process performed by your dentist. However this can be a little expensive.
