dustfree

Avoid having to deal with dust on a daily basis. Here are some suggestions on how to make your humble abode dust free!

Clogged air filters (air conditioning, air purifiers, heaters, etc.) can propel more dust. The moral of the story? Regularly change your air filters.

You can open your windows in the early morning to the fresh air in, but as much as possible, keep your windows closed so as not to let all those dust in.

If you have pets, brush them often. This is less hair that you’ll have to dust off furniture later.

Be practical. When cleaning, dust from top to bottom. This won’t create a cloud of dust that will land back where you already cleaned them off.

Use a dusting cloth with anti-static cling. These specialized cloths will pull dust towards it and

they won’t just push dirt and particles around. Use an extendable handled duster for hard to reach surfaces.

Instead of using polish, try soaking your dust cloth in a water, vinegar, and lemon oil solution.

Use table cloth, slips, and covers for your furniture. All you have to do is to wash them regularly. You really don’t need to do much dusting then.
