No one likes stinky feet. They’re gross and sometimes can cause a migraine depending on the level of stink. It’s not as if you can just wear rubber shoes all the time so you can lock up the foul odor in your feet. Look at these tips on how you can keep your feet clean.
- Just like any other body odor, stink feet is caused by bacteria.
- Do your feet sweat a lot? Wear open shoes because they offer ventilation but if you had to wear closed shoes, go for cotton socks because they absorb sweat more effectively.
- Keep your feet dry. Some people have the tendency to wet their feet every time they go to the bathroom to rinse the dusty feeling. If your feet are wet, they’re most likely to be stinky.
- After your day out, place your shoes somewhere they can dry.
- Some people believe that wearing the same pair of shoes everyday cause the odor. Never wear a shoe that’s not completely dry.
- Use a foot scrubber when you’re cleaning your feet to get rid of dry skin. Don’t forget to clean between the toes but use a more gentle cloth because skin in that area is softer.
- Clean your feet with anti-bacterial soap. Extra sweating needs something more powerful than your average soap.
