Make Manicures Last Longer
Here are some tips and suggestions on how you can make your manicures last longer and your nails healthier:
When having a manicure, make sure that you get a good base coat. After the manicure, apply a top coat daily. Use one that is quick-dry. This will protect your polish from chipping and peeling.
To avoid hardering of cuticles, apply a moisturizing oil that contains vitamin B and aloe. Oil with vitamin B is easily absorbed as opposed to others without it. You can also include food rich in vitamins and calcium in your diet to make your nails stronger and healthier.
Moisturize your hands to keep them supple. You can use your favorite hand cream. Do this every night before going to bed.
Protect your hands and fingers when doing housework or gardenwork. Wear cotton lined gloves so that the cotton can help absorb moisture that your hands produce.
Avoid using your nails as a tool. They are not bottle openers or screw drivers. Constant abuse of nails can make them brittle which causes easy breakage.
