Dieting in any form is just so hard to live by and more often than not, we just eat what we crave. It doesn’t help that pigging out is so much fun, especially if you take a nap after. But in our world where beauty is measured with a weighing scale, we have to be very smart about our routines. After all, looking good is not just about vanity, it’s also about fitness and health.
Don’t skip your meals, especially breakfast. As the first meal of the day, what you eat or not eat during breakfast will determine how your day will go. People usually dash off to work in the morning, and skipping breakfast seems a practical way to be early and lose weight at the same time. But it has been scientifically proven that skipping breakfast tends to make you overeat all throughout the day.
Whenever you eat, begin with your soup. Fight your appetite’s urge to devour everything by starting out with your broth. Soups curb hunger therefore you’ll definitely eat less.
Start a new hobby. Eating has become a favorite pastime. So if you’re excited about yoga or knitting, or doing outreach, you can keep yourself busy enough to even have time to pig-out. A person can fight his cravings for food if he can divert his attention from food to something else.
Indulge your sweet tooth with sweet but healthy desserts. Forget the chocolate bars and yams. Why not get a bowl of fresh fruit salad (with light dressing) and other low-carb sugary goodness? You can also look up dessert recipes with modified ingredients so that the result is still heavenly, sans the calories.

1I am guilty of pigging out and napping after, I am so happy to say I found a program called Smart for Life, I lost 52 lbs. in 3 1/2 months. With this program no excerise and eating there products of cookies, shakes, soups, pudding, muffins, bagels and having a sinsible dinner it was the easiest. So check out smartforlife.com and make that appointment.

2I have adopted all of these habits into my daily lifestyle. I did the Smart For Life Weight Management Program. When I started in June of 2007 I weighed just over 200 lbs. I am only 5 ‘4. Today I weigh 122 lbs and feel amazing. This program helped me learn these healthy habits and now its just my regular routine. I started my day with a Smart Cookie and glass of water. Every 3 hours I would have a cookie and a glass of water. I found that after i got used to it… it was easy and I was never hungry! Except around 4 pm when I was ready for dinner and it was not quit time. So I would have one of there awesome soups. It would take the edge off so when I did sit down for my healthy dinner I did’nt inhale it. I am a new person…I will never be that heavy unhealthy miserable person again! Smart for Life saved my life. Check them out at smartforlife.com

6I am on the supervised program of Smart For Life and love it. Their cookies, shakes, soups, puddings, bagels and granola are mostly organic and I feel healthier than I ever felt. I have lost 36 pounds in 3 months so far and feel very motivated. I want to lose at least another 30. They have a maintenance program when I get there, so I feel confidant I will keep it off this time.
