Why is it important to organize a medicine cabinet? For one, you want to be sure that when you need something, you get it, especially in an emergency. Next, you would also want to be able to grab the right medicine which you might not be able to do if you have everything cluttered inside your medicine cabinet.
What you do is to take all of the medicines and whatnots from the cabinet. We’ll have to re-organize everything.
Use the top shelf for medicines that you rarely use. If they are in a plastic container or a bottle, label the container. Place these on one side.
Place band aids and bandages in a clear jar. Put this jar in the same shelf above.
If you live with a partner, you can use the second shelf and divide it to two spaces – one for you, and one for your partner. If you have the medicine cabinet all to yourself, you can use the space for toiletries.
Reserve the last shelf for medicine or prescription you take everyday. It is on the last shelf so that it becomes accessible and there is no reason for you to forget to take your medicine.
