Feet

The feet are one of the most abused parts of the body – and not to mention probably one of the most neglected too. Here are some tips on how to pamper your feet:

Always wear clean and comfortable shoes. Make sure that you wear something which can let the skin of your feet breathe. If your feet feel pain, don’t hesitate to sit down for a bit and ease your feet out of your shoes. Rest for a while.

At the end of the day, lie on the couch or your bed and prop your feet up some pillows. This will allow the blood to circulate through your feet and legs. If you have time and you can afford it, a regular (weekly or monthly) foot massage would do your feet good.

Moisturize your feet. Do this before you sleep one weekend evening when you are relaxing. You can soak your feet in warm soapy water for about 15 minutes. If you have foot scrubs or pumice, you can rub off dead skin. Rinse and pat dry. Rub and massage a few drops of olive oil unto the skin of your
feet. Wear socks and sleep. The next day, your feet will feel soft and supple.
