Here are tips on how to impress potential investors during a presentation:
Be prepared to give what you promised. Don’t swear on anything that you are sure you can’t deliver. To do this, don’t present lies. Be factual. So before the presentation make sure you have thought out everything, you have all the facts, proofs, and plans that you need. Be organized and know your project by heart.
Let the investors know that you’ve also invested your own money in your project. You should be able to say what you have spent, why, and the positive outcome of that particular investment. Think about it, why would these people invest in your project if you yourself aren’t confident in it.
Show the investors how your project is different from others. If what your are selling is a product, you may want to get it patented and accepted then this will also say to investors that your product is indeed unique and has potential.
Be accurate in what type of investment is required. Provide proofs of why it is so. Prove the market, the concept, the price, the produce acceptance, and prove the commercialization capital. Show them where they can add value to their investment. This gives them a sense of control over their investment.
