Baby

Although babies simply cannot be put into a plastic bubble when you go out, they can only be exposed to germs in public to a certain extent.

A hand sanitizer is a very good way to minimize contact with germs. Keep one in your diaper bag when you go out. You can use this when baby has touched something in public that is potentially germ-laden. So you won’t have to worry if your child touches his own face or puts his fingers in his mouth when you’re not looking.

It is okay to allow your baby to walk in your home or lawn barefoot. However, never allow this in public.

Bring your baby’s own toys. Fastfood chains, malls, and even the doctor’s office have a children’s play corner where there are toys. Instead of using the free-for-all toys, have your kid play with his own. If it is inevitable, carry sanitizing wipes so you can clean the toy first before placing it in your kid’s hands.

You can also use sanitizing wipes on the seat and the handle of a shopping cart before plopping down your baby in it. You can also use them when you eat out and you need to use a high chair for baby.

Don’t forget to sanitize as well. Baby may be clean, but how sure are you that you are?
