
We often complain about stress, but if you think about it, we’re the ones who bring unnecessary stress to our lives.
Give yourself a break. You are not the superhuman you think you are. You can only do so much at a time. Manage your tasks more efficiently and delegate. Set more realistic goals and you’ll find out that life can actually be a lot easier if you just modify how you look at things.
Give the weekends to yourself. Avoid working, talking about work, or even thinking about work. Do household chores, spend time with your loved ones, or get a hobby. Work has you for five days a week, it can do well without you for just two days.
Be a little bit nicer to yourself. Don’t berate yourself for minor mistakes. Don’t call yourself stupid or a jerk. We all do some boo-boos at one point or another. It’s what makes us human. Simply shrug it off and learn from it.
