Wash

Extra care is needed when washing undergarments, especially bras. Bras can be deformed if not handled carefully and loses its capability to support. For women, here are some tips on how to ash your undies correctly:

By machine. Bra balls or underwear nets are quite inexpensive if you buy them. These are cloth bags or nets or balls which have tiny slits in them so that bras and other delicate articles of clothing can still be ashed without being damaged. Simply set the machine to “delicate” and drop the bra ball into the wash. You can buy multiple underwear nets so you can place underwear of the same color in them. Remember to was whites and colors seperately.

By hand. This is the best way to wash undergarments. Simply allow your bras to soak in cool water. Add about 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of powdered detergent or a tablespoon of liquid detergent to the water. Leave the the detergent to sit for 3 minutes. Swish the water until the detergent foams lightly. Gently start rubbing the side straps, then the two cups together. Rinse the bra using cool water. Do not wring water out. Air dry your bra on a hanger. If you don’t have time for this, you can use a dryer but do not use high heat.
