You’ve asked her out and she said YES, but what’s next? Do you have a master plan to make her fall in love with you?

Dress for love. Don’t dress to impress but dress to look your best. You can wear your best shirt and make sure you smell good.

Don’t be late. Pick her up on time and bring your car if you have one. Being late on any date is a no-no.

If you’re eating out, you should reserve a table for two as early as you can. If you’re planning to cook for her, you should know what you’re doing. A Valentine’s date is barely a perfect time to experiment on what little you know about cooking.

Plan your itinerary. You should have an idea of how long you will spend the night together. How many hours have you got? Two or four? You have to map out your evening schedule because you can’t spend four hours in a restaurant. As soon as you confirm how late she can stay, think of enjoyable activities you can do after dinner. What about going to the movies, taking a walk in the park, or hopping to another place for dessert?

Surprise her with tickets to her favorite playoffs or maybe she wants to see the concert of a particular band on tour?

Stargaze. Is there a beach or a lake nearby? Taking a stroll by the shoreline is a nice way to end the night.

For married couples, do something you both like to do but haven’t done in a long time, like going to the place where you met, or snuggle and watch your favorite old movie.
