Sometimes, being too anxious about an exam can make one feel stressed. And when one does, blanking out on answers can happen. What do you do when this happens to you?
Do not panic. Simply close your eyes and count to ten at the most. Make sure you take deep breaths. Try to stretch a bit while you are in your seat.
Skip the items that you can’t answer. The longer you dwell on a problem, the more time you will lose. Try to answer the questions that are easy for you and then deal with the tougher ones later. Sometimes, taking your mind off the problem can help you focus on it better when you get back to it.
If you can’t understand the problem, take down notes. It’s often that we need to put our thoughts into words before they can ever make sense.
