When you’re in college, it’s really difficult to stay focused on studying with lots of exciting stuff to happen.
One way to get yourself right on track is by developing good organization skills. Make use of calendars (whether paper or electronic) so you can organize your schedule. Organize your notes and research materials by using colored pens, sticky-notes, etc.
Find out how you learn and use that information. Some people learn more during lectures when they listen. Some people learn more if there are visual aids. Some people are more hands-on. Some people learn more if they’re with other people.
Schedule a study hour (or two or more) everyday. Studying everyday will make sure you keep updated with class lectures and stuff. It will also train your mind to stay focused.
