Here are some tips for managers on how to utilize your team members strengths to effectively accomplish tasks and projects:
Welcome diverse opinions and approaches. People have developed different approaches to solving issues due to their individual experiences. Don’t be too hasty to discard suggestions when given.
Give team members a chance to express their intellectual abilities. Make sure that each and everyone is given a task or project where he or she can shine. Have each one mentor the other in his or her field of expertise.
Avoid having any members of the team dominate the group and politics should be avoided. Always put the original goals of the team in mind. If it won’t help the team, then don’t do it.
