Healthy Breakfast for Children

Help your kids learn to eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal for the day as it provides most of the energy your children will need for the day. Just make sure that what they eat would be good for their bodies too.

Serve your kids healthy cereal or oatmeal instead of those commercial cereal that is saturated with sugar, color, and preservatives. To make the meal more exciting, add fruit, milk or yogurt, and honey for sweetening.

Another easy-to-prepare breakfast food are sandwiches. You can use homemade peanut butter, some cheese, healthy meat slices (chicken breast), and vegetables as filling. You can also use different types of bread such as bagel, wheat bread slices, etc.

If you have more time, pancakes or waffles sweetened with honey and topped with fruit would also be good. Banana pancakes with homemade chocolate syrup would brighten any child’s day.

Milk, freshly squeezed fruit juice, or a fruit smoothie would rerfresh your kids as well.
