Sugar is not always bad for your kids. It’s only when they have it in excess that it becomes unhealthy. Here are some tips on how to control your children’s sugar intake.
Do not store abundant amount of sweets such as candies, chocolate, and cake in the fridge and in the pantry. These should be bought only during special occassions. Buy fruits and create your own fruit bars instead for dessert.
Food has natural sugars in them. Take into consideration the total amount of sugar that is going to be used when you’re cooking.
Sugary drinks should also be prohibited. Water or juice that has no added sugar should be consumed instead.
