Skin can become dry especially in cold weather, especially in winter. Here are some suggestions on how to keep your skin moisturized even during the cold months:

Try not to stay too close to heaters. These dry moisture from the air which then dries the skin.

Apply lotion, or moisturizer to your skin after coming out of the shower. However, avoid those that are petroleum based or mineral oil based. Apply as often as necessary.

Don’t forget to hydrate yourself by drinking water all through out the day. Try to stay away from caffeine because as a diuretic, it makes the body lose moisture.

Avoid using harsh skin products. They can also contribute to dry skin.
