To keep a clean and orderly kitchen, one must re-enforce the “Clean as you go” rule. One should not just let all the dishes pile in the sink and leave them for washing some other time. Here are some tips on how to be more efficient in cleaning the kitchen.
If you have little time in the morning, you can rinse your dishes and place them in the dishwasher. You can do this for the rest of the stuff you will use throughout the day. You can simly have a one-go of the dishwasher after the evening meal.
Recycle plastic bags. Hook them over one of your kitchen drawers. Here, you can put all the fruit and vegetables peelings, egg shells, and other wet garbage you accumulate as you cook.
Keep a cloth handy. You can use this to wipe off the kitchen counters and the stove right after spills occur. Leaving spills to dry will make it difficult to clean later.
