There are many ways to conserve water, not only for environmental reasons but also for financial ones as well. Here are some ways on how you can do it:

Check for leaks. Observe your water meter maybe twice in a two or period when noone is using water at home. If you see a difference in your water meter then there is a big chance that there is a leak in your house.

Although baths can be relaxing, limit taking one and opt to shower instead as you need more water to fill up your tub than when you take a shower. For more saving efficiency, you can change your shower head to a special water-saving one.

Turn off the faucet when you are washing your face, shaving, and brushing your teeth. Letting water run when you don’t actually use water yet is a very wasteful act.

Use your dishwasher and washing machine when you have a full load. Otherwise, get a basin and wash by hand.

Collect rainwater during rainy season for watering your plants and washing your car or anything else you need washing outside.
