Observe yourself. When do you usually start swearing? How frequently do you swear?Sometimes bad habits like swearing are just reactions to bigger problems such as stress. If you can find solution to your main problem, it will be easier for you to work on your swearing.

Catch yourself doing it. Try to catch yourself wearing. Be aware of how frequently you are doing it so you’ll know how much work you need to do.

Write down your goals. Write daily goals, weekly goals, and monthly goals. Allow yourself to take small steps. Try to decrease your swearing a little at a time each day.

Be conscious of yourself. Always think before you speak. Plan what you say so you can have more control of what comes out of your mouth.

You can start by having a replacement word. Instead of a curse word, you can say “Spinach!” for example, and gradually work your way from it.
