Ironing clothes is not everyone’s favorite chore, so it is not surprising to find clothes for ironing piling up before we even gather enough courage to tackle the task.
For easy ironing, sort the clothes first so you’ll know how to set your iron correctly and thus preventing clothes from getting damaged. Check the label for information. Usually clothes can be sort to – synthetics, silk, wool, cotton, and linen.
This practice will also help you save energy because you don’t need to set the temperature higher or lower. You can start with clothes set to low and then increase the temperature accordingly. For clothes with mixed materials, start with the lowest temperature.
Always check the temperature on the side of the clothes which can’t be seen. Start with the lowest temperature adn slowly increase. Not all materials like steam, so again, check the label if the fabric can be steam ironed.
